Description

Our discussion based groups (Between Women, Spectrum, and Women of Color Coalition ) are coming together for a mixer to discuss heroes and villains on our journeys, and begin a dialogue for collaborations. More information will be shared in the first week of meetings for Between Women, Spectrum, and Women of Color Coalition.

Pizza will be provided.

Sponsored by the Women’s Center and the Mosaic Center, this is a structured, topic-based program with a focus on intersectionality. This program follows the Women's Center Brave Space model in order to create a community environment that fosters learning and critical discussion.

Between Women centers the experience of women students who identify themselves on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.

Women of Color Coalition is for self-identified women of color students, staff, and faculty.

The Spectrum program is for UMBC community members who identify as trans, genderqueer, gender fluid, outside of the gender binary, and/or those who are questioning their gender identity.

For safety and confidentially reasons, this is a closed meeting for those who identify as members of the invited communities. It is not appropriate for students to use the space for class research or interviews.
