Description

Hosted in collaboration with the Women’s Center and the student organization We Believe You, this discussion group creates space to center the experiences of survivors of sexual violence. For safety and confidentiality reasons, this is a closed meeting for those who identify as survivors and their allies. It is not appropriate for students to use the space for class research or interviews.

If you have any questions, concerns, or want to know more about the group, email us at womenscenter@umbc.edu

For Spring 2021, the We Believe You Discussion Group will be meeting on a biweekly basis.

This discussion-based program follows the Women’s Center Brave Space model to provide a welcoming environment and thoughtful community to engage in conversations focused on support and healing for survivors of sexual violence.

This discussion group will be hosted through Webex; please email the Women's Center at womenscenter@umbc.edu to receive joining information. If this platform presents accessibility challenges for you, please be in touch so we can consult on the best ways to make this experience accessible for you.

Please note: UMBC is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment for all students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
