A Discussion for Undergraduate Adult Learners

Location

Online

Date & Time

Description

This discussion centers the experiences of UMBC undergraduate adult learners with a specific focus on women students. An adult learner is a student 25 years and older.

We're just a few weeks into a brand new semester after spending more than a year and half learning remotely throughout a global pandemic.

What did we experience? What did it mean? How do we move forward?

We're different people now with different habits. How do we honor and incorporate our new reality while cultivating our academic goals and success as adult learners at UMBC?

Let's explore these questions together! Through an interactive session and group discussions, participants will have the opportunity to engage with this topic by sharing personal experiences and brainstorming strategies to learn meaningful and healthy ways to reset your energy to tackle the new semester.

This discussion will be led by our very own USG UMBC adult learner and Returning Women Student Scholar, Emma Earnest.

This event will take place virtually. Stay tuned for an event link.
