Description

The Returning Women Students/Adult Learners Scholarship Application is now available and requires applicants to write a personal essay. Are you prepared?

Writing about who you are and how you’ve developed as an individual can be challenging. Come to this informational and hands-on virtual workshop for ideas on how to start writing and revising your personal statement. Members of the Writing Center will be on-hand to answer questions and give feedback during the second part of the session.

This meeting will be held through Google Meets

If you plan on workshopping your personal statement, complete this RSVP via google forms to ensure we have enough Writing Center peers to help review your statement.

This workshop is for all adult learners whether or not you plan to apply to the Returning Women Students/Adult Learners 2022-23 Scholarship application. Any student interested in learning more about writing personal statements or essays is invited to attend.

The first 10 minutes will be reserved to briefly go over the Returning Women Student Scholarship application and program requirements. For an extended information session, attend our Feb 8th Q+A.
