Description
The Returning Women Students/Adult Learners Scholarship Application for 2022-23 is now available.
Undergraduate students over the age of 25 and with at least 60 credits may be eligible to apply. Eligible students can access the application at ScholarshipRetriever.
This information sessions is a casual opportunity to ask questions about the scholarship application and scholars program. A 25-30 minute overview will take place before the rest of the time is opened up for questions. The overview will include information about the specific RWS/Adult Learner scholarships, the scholars program requirements, and important tips for writing your essay. You may drop in and go as needed after the initial overview.
In addition to this Q+A session, we are also offering a workshop presented by the Writing Center on March 17th that focuses on crafting personal statements. We encourage interested students to attend as the essay is the most critical part of the application packet.
This year's scholarship deadline is Friday, April 8, 2022. More details about the application process can also be found on myUMBC or our website.
