Description
Women of Color Collective (WoCC) provides a supportive space for women and femmes of color to come together for conversation, networking, and advocacy. WoCC will continue to hold a healing space and will center community support + solidarity and self-care for UMBC women and femmes of color.
WOCC will take place in-person in the Women's Center. If you like to receive email reminders and details about the monthly topic , please email womenscenter@umbc.edu to be include on the WoCC list-serv.
Please continue to wear a mask while using Women's Center spaces.
These programs follows the Women’s Center Brave Space model to provide a welcoming community and learning environment for women and femmes of color interested in cultivating visibility, advocacy, and engagement around the intersections of gender and race. The Women of Color Collective meets monthly throughout the fall and spring semesters.
