Description
We're so excited to be bringing back the Women & Gender Minorities in STEM discussion group. If you identify with this group, please join us to talk about common experiences and challenges as minorities in STEM!
9/12 Topic: Imposter Syndrome as Minorities in STEM
Women & Gender Minorities in STEM discussion group will engage in conversations focused on the experiences of women and other gender minority* students studying in the STEM fields. This group centers around the experiences of women and gender minorities in the STEM community; we request that students do not use this space for class research or interviews.
The Women & Gender Minorities in STEM discussion group is open to all. Those who are allies, regardless of their sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression are welcome. Snacks will be provided. We hope to see you there!
*A gender minority is defined as someone whose gender identity or expression differs from their assigned sex at birth.
