9/25 Topic: Who Gets to Be a Scientist?
The Women & Gender Minorities in STEM discussion group will engage in conversations focused on the experiences of women and other gender minority* students studying in the STEM fields. This group centers around the experiences of women and gender minorities in the STEM community; we request that students do not use this space for class research or interviews.
This event is open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the university's nondiscrimination policy.
*A gender minority is defined as someone whose gender identity or expression differs from their assigned sex at birth.*
