Women of Color Collective (WOCC)

Please join us for our discussion group! We will be diving into the experience of how women of color navigate the health care system in regards to breast cancer. 

WOCC will take place in the Women's, Gender, & Equity Center Lounge, biweekly on Wednesdays from 3-4 pm throughout the Fall semester. If you would like to receive reminders and details about the meetings, please follow our myUMBC and Instagram! 

All self-identified women and femmes of color students, staff, and faculty are welcome to share their stories and learn about others' experiences at Women of Color Collective. This discussion-based program follows the WGEC's Brave Space model to provide a welcoming and thoughtful environment for engaging in conversations focused on the intersections of gender and race.
