Description
Please join us for the Women of Color Collective! We will be diving into the topic of Halloween Costumes and Cultural Appropriation.
WOCC will take place in the Women's, Gender, & Equity Center Lounge, biweekly on Wednesdays from 3-4 pm throughout the Fall semester. If you would like to receive reminders and details about the meetings, please follow our myUMBC and Instagram (womencenterumbc)!
All self-identified women and femmes of color students, staff, and faculty are welcome to share their stories and learn about others' experiences at Women of Color Collective. This discussion-based program follows the WGEC's Brave Space model to provide a welcoming and thoughtful environment for engaging in conversations focused on the intersections of gender and race.
