Please join the Women's, Gender, and Equity Center at "In Her Shoes", an interactive awareness workshop for people to experience the real-life stories of individuals navigating and living with domestic violence. Participants will step into a survivor's shoes, learn their story, and make choices based on their circumstances. We all have a role in ending the tragedy that is domestic violence; come learn and discuss how to do so at this event. This workshop was created by the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence. 

This event is open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.

In Her Shoes: an interactive workshop that allows participants to experience the difficult choices a survivor faces while trying to navigate safety in an abusive relationship. 
Learn how to: shift your thinking about relationship violence, evolve practices around what it really means to support survivors, empathize and understand barriers for survivors, envision a world where violence and abuse don't flourish as they do now.
