Date & Time

Description

Students, Faculty, and Staff have made t-shirts describing their experience with relationship violence and sexual assault. On  Wednesday, October 8th these t-shirts will be hung shoulder-to-shoulder on a clothesline for public viewing, as if the survivors are there themselves, telling us their stories.

The Clothesline Project gives voice to the experiences of survivors, victims, family, and friends who have been affected by violence. All are encouraged to attend and participate. A vigil will be held from 12-12:30pm.

Resources and information from the Women's Center, the Relationship Violence Awareness & Prevention program, and Green Dot will also be available at the display.

We will hold a Clothesline Project Reflection and Survivor Speakout at the conclusion of the display at 4pm in the Women's Center. Share thoughts, stories, and reactions to the Clothesline Project.
