Get to know downtown Baltimore city!
Location
Off Campus
Date & Time
October 23, 2015, 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Description
Cities look like they do not out of happenstance, but as a result of political and social struggles over time. Join Dr. Kate Drabinski (Gender + Women's Studies) for a 90-minute walking tour that will take us from the UMBC shuttle stop at MLK and Pratt, into Pigtown, and back across MLK for a tour of the Westside. We will end at Lexington Market, so be sure to bring a few bucks for a snack or late lunch at one of the oldest and longest-running public markets in the world.
Free tickets available at the CIC desk through October 21st.
