Community Safe Space
A safe space to discuss Orlando and the LGBTQ+ community
Location
On Campus : Women's Center
Date & Time
June 14, 2016, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Description
Following the anti-LGBT hate crime in Orlando, the Women's Center will be offering a safe space discussion on Tuesday, June 14th from 12-1pm. We ask and encourage the voices and experiences of those in the LGBTQ+ community to be centered in the conversation.
PLEASE NOTE:
This safe space is not intended to be an open discussion or debate. Rather, this is an opportunity to provide intentional healing and supportive space for UMBC community members to process and share their thoughts, emotions, and reactions related to the violence perpetrated against the LGBTQ+ community.
