Welcome back, WoCC!
This week we'll be exploring how we can empower ourselves to reclaim our minds & bodies! We'll be discussing the oversexualization of WOC in the media, and touch upon the #MeToo and Times Up Movements. We'll be doing a few activities on empowerment and reclamation!!
Women of Color Coalition provides a supportive space for women of color to come together for conversation, networking, and advocacy.
All self-identified women of color students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join our biweekly conversations!
This program follows the Women’s Center Brave Space model to provide a welcoming community and learning environment for women of color interested in cultivating visibility, advocacy, and engagement around the intersections of gender and race.
