Holding Space
A safe space for those impacted by recent events
Location
On Campus
Date & Time
June 26, 2018, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Description
The Women's Center and Campus Life's Mosaic invite anyone in the UMBC community impacted by recent immigration and family separation incidents to join us for Holding Space, a drop-in safe space to discuss recent events and heal alongside other UMBC community members.
Holding Space is for you to work through any personally triggering events, find support at UMBC, and build community. Stop by any time from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday, June 26th to talk 1-1, discuss as a group, listen, or simply rest.
This event is a collaboration between the Women's Center and Campus Life's Mosaic: Center for Diversity and Inclusion.
PLEASE NOTE:
This safe space is not intended for debate. Rather, Holding Space is meant to provide intentional healing and supportive space for UMBC community members to process and share their thoughts, emotions, and reactions.
