A discussion group for UMBC's women in STEM. In our March discussion, we will discuss the importance of finding your people, or how Abby Wambach referred to in a recent speech, your "wolf pack," and how women in STEM fields can benefit from building their community. Our guest facilitator will be Erin Lavik, Professor of Chemical, Biochemical, and Environmental Engineering.
Each discussion group will take place on the 2nd Friday of each month at noon during the spring semester except for this month. Please note the time change! Guest facilitators (staff and faculty in STEM fields at UMBC) change each month.
Pizza will be provided. Please RSVP if you plan on attending so we can make sure we order enough for everyone.
