Description
Our UMBC LGBTQ Community Networking event is a time for students, faculty, staff, and alumni in the LGBTQ Community to meet each other and develop professional and social relationships. This event is sponsored by the Women's Center, Campus Life's Mosaic, and the LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Association.
As members of the LGBTQ community, we are keenly aware of how important building community among one another can be. Our friends and our community can be our families. We support one another, celebrate our differences, and cheer one another on. As we bring people together for this event, we are excited to not only offer a way to make professional connections, but also to be a steward of potential friendships, mentorships, and mutual supporters.
Featuring keynote speaker, Dr. Kate Drabinski, Senior Lecturer in the Gender, Women's, + Sexuality Studies Department.
In order to order the right amount of food, please RSVP to this event if you intend to go!
