This event centers the experiences of UMBC undergraduate adult learners with a specific focus on women students. An adult learner is a student 25 years and older.

This event will feature a panel of UMBC professors who will share their insights about some of the best ways students, especially adult learners, can connect with their professors and build ongoing relationships with them beyond the classroom. The panel will also address the best ways adult learners and student caregivers can communicate and advocate for their needs with their professors.

To ensure your questions get answered, email womenscenter@umbc.edu prior to the panel. Students will also be able to ask their questions during the panel.

Our panel of professors will include:

  • Dr. Lee Blaney, Chemical, Biochemical and Environmental Engineering
